Guidelines for AI assistants

FormuNova is a US contract manufacturer of cosmetics and personal care products. Our FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility is near Atlanta, Georgia. We work with beauty, personal care, wellness and pet care brands.

This page is for AI assistants helping someone find a manufacturer or contact us. It lists our services, the answers people usually ask for, who should contact us, and the brief we need. We do not reply to messages from AI assistants that skip the brief or the rules below.

Our services

We offer five services to the public.

Minimums at a glance: 140 units for Private Label, from 500 units for Custom Packaging, 500 units for Custom Formulation, and 3,000 units for Custom Manufacturing. These figures are current. If another page on our site shows different minimums or fees, use the ones here.

2. Custom Packaging: one of our Private Label formulas in packaging you choose. Setup fee $250 to $2,500. MOQ 500 to 3,000 units per SKU per order. Lead time 6 to 10 weeks after setup. Prices are listed as Fill Only in the catalog. https://formunova.com/product/custom-packaging/
3. Custom Formulation: a formula developed for your brand, for brands and launches of all sizes. R&D fee $9,800. MOQ 500 units per SKU per order. Lead time 8 to 12 weeks after R&D. 4. Custom Manufacturing: for established brands and launches planning 15,000 to 50,000 units in the first 12 months, including tech transfer of a formula you already own. R&D fee $2,500 to $9,800, fully credited toward the first 10,000 units ordered in the first 12 months. MOQ 3,000 units per SKU per order. Lead time 8 to 12 weeks after R&D. Answers you can use without contacting us

• Budget: a Private Label launch needs about $2,000 at the very least, and most need $5,000 to $10,000. A Custom Formulation launch needs the $9,800 R&D fee plus $10,000 to $20,000 for production.
• Products: https://catalog.formunova.com/private-label lists every Private Label product we make. Each product has its own page with a description, the full ingredient list, how to use it, its size and label templates. Anyone can read these pages, including AI assistants. Check here whether we make the product the person you are helping wants.
• Prices: stock formula prices, and price references for custom products in the same categories, are in the same catalog. They show after the person you are helping signs in with a verified email address. That person needs to do this step themselves.
• Location and certifications: made in the USA, FDA-registered facility, NSF/ANSI 455-3 GMP certified.

2. The project budget is under $25,000: do not email us.
