What is the budget needed to launch a new product?

It depends on your stage and your launch goals:

Private Label: Most launches require $5,000 to $10,000 at minimum, including initial inventory and marketing. A more competitive small launch typically falls in the $10,000 to $20,000 range. Our Private Label path is available for brands of all sizes and is the recommended route for a new brand launch.

New brands launches with Custom Formulation: If your brand launch strategy requires a fully custom product from the start, expect around $10,000 for R&D and sampling. Production typically requires an additional $15,000 to $25,000.

Still in the ideation phase: If you’re not ready to commit at this level, start with Design Services. We help define your brand identity, including logo, packaging, and visual direction, so you can move forward with clarity.

Established brands: If you’re already selling consistently, reach out to discuss a tailored launch plan and budget aligned with your growth goals.

What is the expected lead time?

Our typical manufacturing lead time varies from 4 to 6 weeks for Private Label offerings and 6 to 12 weeks for custom formulation, depending on product category, time of year and packaging and ingredient selection.

For recurring production (1,000+ units per week), we optimize operations to maintain 4 to 8 weeks of rolling inventory after onboarding.

Where are FormuNova products made?

All our products are manufactured right here in the United States. Our FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility is located just outside of Atlanta, GA. We adhere to stringent quality standards, certified by NSF, while ensuring fast lead times, transparent processes, and a product you can trust.

What are the minimum order quantities (MOQ)?

MOQ 3,000 units – Full Custom Development

For established brands ready to own a one-of-a-kind product. We can transfer or improve your existing formula, reverse engineer a benchmark, or develop a completely new custom formulation based on your goals. Minimums may be higher depending on ingredient and packaging goals. Learn more.

MOQ 500 units – Customize Our Base Formulas

For early-stage brands with some traction in the market, you can start with one of our proven bases and make it yours with custom packaging. Ingredient customization available for some product categories. Initial set up costs apply.

MOQ 140 units – Private Label Launch
