Kaolin, also known as China clay, is a naturally occurring hydrated aluminum silicate mineral widely used in cosmetic formulations for its gentle absorbent and detoxifying properties. In skincare, Kaolin acts as a mild yet effective cleansing agent that helps to purify the skin by absorbing excess oil, removing impurities, and minimizing the appearance of pores. In haircare, Kaolin is primarily utilized for scalp care and oil regulation.
